All-Time Series: Tied (5-5 -- New York, 1-0 in playoffs)

The last time these two teams faced each other was in Super Bowl XLII, and the New York Giants pulled a historical upset by spoiling the Patriots perfect season, becoming the first wild card team ever to win a Super Bowl. I believe Super Bowl XLVI will be another great battle.

The stakes are high in this highly anticipated game for the Patriots led by Tom Brady. It will be a day of redemption in the eyes of their disappointed fans that still have nightmares of the perfect season that never came to be. Tom Brady himself stated that watching that game was still hard for him to this day.

For the New York Giants, led by Eli Manning, they beat the No. 1 seed on the road. Then they beat the No. 2 seed in the conference title game. This Super Bowl promises to be the game of all games with the New York Giants defense setting the tone for scoring. The odds give a slight advantage to the New England Patriots as they have the better record, and some payback to dish out to the Giants for ruining their perfect season. With all this being said, I'm willing to go out on a limb, and predict that New York will hand New England another loss in the Super Bowl, choking New England once more. New York Giants are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings versus New England Patriots.
